Hello,

I am Darren, a former Design & Technology teacher who now enjoys creating my own work.

 I like to work with salvaged metal & reclaimed materials in an ecological and environmental way, as can be seen in my insect refuges which are created using old pallet wood.

My work continues to develop in both size and complexity, creating unique and unusual works of art. I work with 100% reclaimed stainless and mild steels, all sourced from local industry. My pieces can be designed and made with or without the integral insect refuge although, generally, customers prefer the sculpture and insect refuge combination.
